Verizon Will Release Samsung Haven

The Samsung Haven from Verizon is now available for pre-order for $40 with a new 2-year contract. As a successor to the Samsung Knack, the phone features a 2.2-inch (176×220) internal screen, a 1.07-inch (96×96) external display, dedicated ICE (In Case of Emergency) buttons, a 16MB of RAM and a 64MB of ROM. Measuring 100mm x 51mm x 18mm and weighing 99 grams, this clamshell handset supports dual band CDMA (800/1900) with CDMA 2000 1x RTT data. Verizon’s Samsung Haven will be shipped on July 29th, 2010. FCC Has Approved BlackBerry Bold 9650

Almighty FCC has finally approved the BlackBerry Bold 9650, which will be available in the US market via Sprint (starting May 23rd, 2010 for $199 on contract) and Verizon (possibly starting May 27th, 2010). Dubbed as the BlackBerry Tour 2, or BlackBerry Essex, the new Bold 9650 features GSM/HSDPA and CDMA/EV-DO connectivity, optical trackpad, 480 x 360 pixels display, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, a 3.5mm headset jack, and a 3.2MP AutoFocus camera with Flash. Verizon’s Rugged Casio Brigade C741 Rumors

According to rumors, Verizon has silently released the Casio Brigade C741. It seems that this rugged handset is now available in various Verizon retail stores, although Verizon didn’t officially announce this yet.
