NTT Docomo Medias LTE N-04D And Medias PP N-01D Support Bluetooth 4.0 LE

NTT Docomo will launch two new smartphones in early 2012, the Medias LTE N-04D and Medias PP N-01D. Both smartphones support Bluetooth 4.0 LE (Low Energy). Casio has also introduced the G-Shock GB-6900 with Bluetooth 4.0 LE. The timepiece allows you to synchronize time across your Bluetooth 4.0 LE-enabled smartphones. The Casio G-Shock GB-6900 can also receive notification of incoming messages and phone calls. Casio will launch the G-Shock GB-6900 in December 2011 for US$235. [Akihabara]

Pantech has recently unveiled its latest Android smartphone namely the Pantech Vega LTE. The smartphone runs on the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and features a 4.5-inch multitouch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a dual core 1.5GHz processor, a 1GB of RAM and a 16GB of storage capacity. The Pantech Vega LTE also supports NFC, Bluetooth 3.0, a 1860mAh battery, a T-DMB TV tuner, and 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi. Folks in South Korea are able to purchase the Pantech Vega LTE via SK Telecom. Apple iPhone 4S - The Best Smartphone In The World

Apple has officially announced the iPhone 4S. The highly anticipated smartphone comes jam packed with an all-new camera module, Apple’s dual core A5 processor, iOS 5, and a new antenna design. The iPhone 4S features an 8-megapixel digital camera with a back-illuminated CMOS sensor, a larger f/2.4 aperture AutoFocus lens, an advanced hybrid IR filter, an improved white balance, face detection and 1080p Full HD video capture with audio. Apple claims that its dual-core A5 processor offers up to two times more power and up to seven times faster graphics. This power-efficient CPU is combined with the latest iOS 5, bringing over 200 new features to iPhone 4S. The new Apple iPhone 4S is compatible with both CDMA and GSM networks and supports download speeds of 14.4Mbps. Additional specs include Apple’s Retina display, iCloud, AirPlay, AirPrint and Siri. Apple’s new Siri is a personal assistant that is smart enough to help you get things done. You just need to ask natural language questions and Siri will deliver the most relevant answers for you. The first 7 countries (the UK, United States, Australia, Canada, Japan, France and Germany) will get the iPhone 4S on October 14th, 2011. Apple will also release the smartphone in 22 additional countries on October 28th, 2011. In the US, the new iPhone 4S is priced at $199(16GB), $299(32GB) and $399(64GB) with a service contract. LG has proudly introduced the world’s first 4G HD smartphone, the Optimus LTE. Powered by the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, the smartphone features a 4.5-inch (1280 x 720) IPS display, which is combined with a fast 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear-facing camera with 1080p video recording, a 1.3MP front-facing camera for video calls, a 4GB of internal memory, DLNA support, a pre-installed 16GB microSD card and a 1,830mAh battery. It has an HDMI port that allows you to enjoy watching HD videos in the bigger screen. The LG Optimus LTE will be available in two variants in the South Korean market such as the LG SU640 for SK Telecom and the LG LU6200 for LG U+. No word on pricing at this moment. Read more…
