All About New Cell Phones

The new Meizu MX is not an ordinary Android smartphone, because it has a powerful specification such as a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, a 4-inch ASV display with a 960 x 640 pixel resolution, a 1GB of RAM, a 16GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD recording and HSPA+ support. There is also a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.

The Meizu MX runs on the Flyme OS, which is actually a customized version of the Google Android 2.3.5 OS. The Meizu MX smartphone will be released in China on January 1st, 2012 for 2,999 Yuan or around US$470. See more pictures after the jump. Read more…

Measuring 117.7mm x 60.5mm x 9.85mm and weighing 123.6 grams, the smartphone features a 4-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) edge-to-edge display, Moto Switch UI 2.0, HSDPA (900/2100MHz), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, an 8MP rear-facing camera with a LED flash, a VGA front-facing camera for video calls, a 1GB of ROM and a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
