Samsung Galaxy S GT-i9000 Android 2.2.1 Update

Samsung has finally issued the Android 2.2.1 update for the international version of the Samsung Galaxy S (GT-i9000). FYI, the Android 2.2.1 update is said to take care of a few bugs and security glitches. If you want to upgrade your Galaxy S, you will need to use Samsung’s desktop application Kies. Users with root access may want to hold off from installing Android 2.2.1, however, since you might lose superuser access when updating. [Androinica]
