Sharp today launched the Aquos Phone SH-12C Android phone. Powered by the Google Android 2.3 OS, the phone supports HSDPA 14Mpbs, GPS, Bluetooth, a 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor, a 512MB of RAM, a 2GB of ROM, a huge 4.2-inch QHD (540×960) 3D New Mobile ASV panel and a couple of 8MP digital camera for 3D photo and video. Sharp is ready to release a couple of new handsets in India, the Sharp Alice SH0037D and Tango SH6017D. Both cell phones feature a pre-installed Opera Mini, allowing users to access the web while on-the-go. The Sharp Alice SH0037D comes jam packed with a 2.8-inch WQVGA (400 x 240) touchscreen display, G-sensor, Bluetooth 2.1, a media player, an FM radio, a 3MP camera and a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The Sharp Tango SH6017D is a clamshell phone that has a rotatable 2.9-inch WQVGA touchscreen display, G-sensor, a pedometer, a media player, an FM radio, Bluetooth 2.1 and a 5MP camera. Read more…

Sharp comes back with a new Android handset that features the retina display. Dubbed as the Sharp IS03, this handset is a combination of an Android handset and Apple’s iPhone. The phone features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 960 x 640 pixels, a 9.6-megapixel AutoFocus camera, a one-seg TV tuner and the Android 2.1 OS. AT&T will release the Sharp FX messaging phone that has a full touchscreen and slide-out QWERTY keyboard for quick access to messaging, IM, email and social networking. The phone also features an MP3 player, a 2.0 megapixel digicam with camcorder and Bluetooth 2.1. Other available features include AT&T Address Book, which syncs contacts to an online address book so you can access and manage your mobile contacts from your handset. The AT&T Navigator provides turn-by-turn directions, traffic alerts with one-touch rerouting, 3D moving maps, integrated speech recognition and more, while the AT&T Social Net allows you to access multiple social networking sites from one application. The Sharp JD-4C1CL is the latest cordless phone from Sharp that comes equipped with a 4.3-inch digital photo frame. The gadget also features a wide touchscreen display, a clock and a calendar. This Phone will be available in Japan this April. [Sharp via Akihabara]
