Rogers will target this handset at “teens looking for a touchscreen device that looks good and allows them to stay connected to friends and multimedia”, and at “customers looking for smartphone-like features without having to subscribe to a data plan.” Rogers’ Samsung Corby Pro retails for $69.99 with a 3-year contract, $119.99 with a 2-year contract, $219.99 with a 1-year contract, or $274.99 free of contract. As a reminder, the Samsung Corby Pro comes jam packed with a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, a full QWERTY keyboard, TouchWiz UI, widgets, a social networking integration, a 3.5mm headset jack, a stereo Bluetooth, a 3MP camera and a MicroSD card support. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor, this Android 2.1-powered handset features a 3.5-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, Quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and Triband (900/1900/2100) HSDPA, WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and a 5-megapixel camera.
