O2 UK Launches LG Optimus Chat C550

The LG Optimus Chat C550 is now available in the UK via O2. The smartphone runs on the Google Android 2.2 Froyo OS and features a sliding QWERTY keyboard, a 2.8-inch HVGA touchscreen display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 3MP camera, a 140MB of on-board memory, and a microSD card slot. Nokia C3-01 Touch And Type Now Available In The UK

You are lucky if you are living in the UK, because the new Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type is now available for purchase in that region via T-Mobile, Vodafone and O2. These network carriers offer the Nokia C3-01 for free if you’re willing to sign a new 2-year contract agreement (data plans start from £15 at T-Mobile, £20 at Vodafone, and £25 at O2). O2, Orange, Vodafone, And T-Mobile To Release iPhone 4 In The UK

O2, Orange, Vodafone, and T-Mobile have confirmed that they will launch the highly anticipated iPhone 4 in the UK. Orange, Vodafone, and O2 have posted special webpages for the iPhone 4 where users can sign up to receive more information as it becomes available, while T-Mobile has simply made an announcement, saying that “further information on launch timings, pricing and tariff plans will be revealed in due course.” As a reminder, Apple will release the iPhone 4 in the U.S., France, Germany, the U.K., and Japan on June 24th, 2010. Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X10 has appeared on O2 UK’s website, which means that the largest British mobile carrier will release this smartphone very soon. The Sony Ericsson’s first Android smartphone is a high-end device that features a large 4-inch touchscreen display with 480 x 854 pixels, HSPA connectivity, Wi-Fi with DLNA, GPS with Google Maps, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.5 mm headset jack, and an 8MP Autofocus camera with image stabilization, LED flash and WVGA video recording. The Xperia X10 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor at 1GHz. O2 usually sells high-end smartphones for free with expensive contract agreements, so the X10 should also be free if you’re willing to pay about £40 or more monthly. [O2 Shop]
