Nokia X2-05 Candybar Music Phone

Nokia has announced a new candybar phone for music lovers, the Nokia X2-05. Measuring 113mm x 50mm x 15mm and weighing at just 87.8 grams, the handset can play both MP3 and MP4 files and offers a built-in speaker that operates at 106phons. The Nokia X2-05 also features a 2.2-inch QVGA display offering 65K colors at a 320 x 240 resolution, a microSD card slot(up to 32GB), GSM Dual Band 900/1800 support, an FM radio with a recording facility, Bluetooth, a VGA camera, Nokia Browser, Nokia Store, Facebook and Twitter. Its battery offers up to 4-hour of talk-time or up to 25-day of standby time. Available in Black, Silver, White and Bright Red, the Nokia X2-05 will be launched in Q4 2011 for around 46 Euros(US$62) before any local taxes or operator subsidies. Watch the video after the jump. Nokia X1-00 Affordable Music Phone

The Nokia X1-00 will be released in April for €34 ($47) before taxes and subsidies. This affordable music phone comes equipped with a “huge” speaker on the back, Series 30 UI, a music player, dedicated music keys, a 3.5mm headset jack, an FM radio, a built-in flashlight, GSM/ EDGE connectivity and a microSD card slot (up to 16GB). The phone is powered by a 1320mAh battery, which provides up to 61-day of standby time. Available in Orange, Ocean Blue and Dark Grey, the Nokia X1-00 is mainly targeted at emerging markets such as India and China. Read more…

Sony Ericsson Zylo Walkman Phone

Sony Ericsson has updated its Walkman phone series by releasing the Sony Ericsson Zylo. This music-oriented phone has a 2.6-inch QVGA display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, an HSDPA connectivity, a stereo Bluetooth connectivity, and a Walkman player. Other features include Google Maps, TrackID, an integrated FM radio, and a 260MB of internal memory which is expandable via a microSD memory card slot. The Sony Ericsson Zylo also supports Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync that allows you to enjoy the benefits of push email. FYI, the Zylo is claimed to be Sony Ericsson’s first handset that supports the FLAC format. Available in Jazz Black, Chacha Silver and Swing Pink, the Sony Ericsson Zylo Walkman phone will be released in July 2010. No info on pricing at this time. Samsung today unveiled the Samsung M5650, a new cell phone for music lovers. The handset comes equipped with a one-touch key for listening to your favorite tunes on top of all the diverse features of the Corby. The music phone also provides enhanced social networking features allowing quick access to MySpace, Facebook and Twitter, and the ability to easily upload photos and videos. Additionally, this 3G handset also supports WiFi, a 3-megapixel camera, an FM radio, an MP3 player, USB 2.0, Bluetooth, One Finger Zoom and a Cartoon UI.
