HTC Wildfire With Android 2.1

HTC has recently announced the HTC Wildfire smartphone, which is actually an entry-level Android 2.1 handset. It has a 528Mhz MSM7225 CPU with a 384MB of RAM and a 512MB of ROM, a 3.2-inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen, a 5MP camera with AutoFocus and LED Flash, GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. What’s more, the cell phone also features the Friend Stream application for access to Facebook, Twitter and Flickr. The Android-powered HTC Wildfire will be available in Europe and Asia starting in the Q3 of 2010. No word on pricing so far. [MobileTechWorld]

You are lucky if you are living in the United States, because Sprint will launch the HTC EVO 4G smartphone on June 4th, 2010 for only $199.99 with a new 2-year contract. The Sprint HTC EVO 4G will be the first 4G phone in the US. The smartphone has the forward facing camera that is capable of performing over both 3G and 4G networks. Video chats will run on Qik, a third party application which also points to the possibility of making phone-to-PC calls.

The HTC EVO 4G features the latest Android 2.1 OS, offering more than 35,000 apps. The phone is powered by a 4.3-inch display, a superfast 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, an 8.0-megapixel AutoFocus camera with HD-capable video camcorder and a forward-facing 1.3-megapixel camera. You are lucky if you are living in the UK because Orange UK has recently launched the HTC Desire Black Edition in that region. The phone is available for free with plans of at least £35 per month. You can also get it for £49.99 on £30 plans, or for £99.99 on £25 plans.

For your info, the HTC Desire is a high-end Android 2.1 smartphone that is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5MP AutoFocus camera, an optical trackball, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, and a 3.5mm headset jack. Read more…

HTC HD Mini Available Now From Clove

The HTC HD Mini is now available in the UK via Clove. The handset retails for £275 without VAT or £323.17 with VAT. In case you didn’t know, the HTC HD Mini is powered by a 600MHz processor and a 3.2-inch display screen. It is a Windows Mobile device with HTC Sense, an interface that brings calls, texts, status updates or emails into a single contact view. The handset also features a Windows-based app and HTC Peep, allowing users to tweet and follow Twitter streams. Additionally, the HD Mini features a large touch screen display for viewing, zooming and resizing with a pinch of the fingers, a 5.0-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and access to Windows Marketplace for Mobile for more games and applications. T-Mobile To Release Moto CLIQ XT, HTC HD2, And Nokia Nuron

Word has it that T-Mobile will launch Moto CLIQ XT, HTC HD2, Nokia Nuron next month as part of its Q1 2010 line-up. The HTC HD2 will be launched on March 24th, meanwhile the Moto Cliq XT (aka Zeppelin) will be launched on Mach 10th. The highly anticipated Nokia Nuron will be released on March 17th.
