Nokia X2-05 Candybar Music Phone

Nokia has announced a new candybar phone for music lovers, the Nokia X2-05. Measuring 113mm x 50mm x 15mm and weighing at just 87.8 grams, the handset can play both MP3 and MP4 files and offers a built-in speaker that operates at 106phons. The Nokia X2-05 also features a 2.2-inch QVGA display offering 65K colors at a 320 x 240 resolution, a microSD card slot(up to 32GB), GSM Dual Band 900/1800 support, an FM radio with a recording facility, Bluetooth, a VGA camera, Nokia Browser, Nokia Store, Facebook and Twitter. Its battery offers up to 4-hour of talk-time or up to 25-day of standby time. Available in Black, Silver, White and Bright Red, the Nokia X2-05 will be launched in Q4 2011 for around 46 Euros(US$62) before any local taxes or operator subsidies. Watch the video after the jump. Ultra-Slim Pantech Hotshot Hits Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless will launch the Pantech Hotshot on October 6th, 2011. Measuring at only 0.35-inch thick, this ultra-slim smartphone has a 3.2-inch LCD touchscreen display, a 3.2-megapixel digital camera, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot(up to 32GB). The Pantech Hotshot comes equipped with three home screens for customization, allowing customers to add favorite contacts, pictures and shortcuts to those screens. Other specs include Opera Mini Browser, VZ Navigator, and V CAST Tones. The Pantech Hotshot retails for US$99.99 after a US$50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. Huawei U8520 Dual-SIM Android Phone

If you are looking for a new dual-SIM phone, then check out the Huawei U8520. It is not an ordinary dual-SIM phone because it is powered by the Google Android 2.2 OS. The first SIM card slot supports 3G networks, while the secondary SIM card slot only supports GSM networks. The Huawei U8520 supports WCDMA II, WCDMA V connectivity (1900/ 850MHz) and features a 1GHz processor, an HVGA display, a 3MP digital camera, Wi-Fi, and GPS. Verizon Wireless will launch the Motorola Droid Bionic on September 8th, 2011, which is tomorrow. For your info, the Motorola Droid Bionic is the first Verizon Wireless smartphone to combine 4G LTE with a dual-core 1GHz processor, a 1GB of RAM, the Google Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread OS, a 4.3-inch qHD display with a scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass with dual-layer anti-reflective coating, an 8-megapixel AutoFocus camera with flash and 1080p HD video capture, and a front-facing camera for video chat over 4G LTE, 3G or Wi-Fi. Customers can expect to fly across the Web on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network with download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps in 4G LTE mobile broadband coverage areas. Additional specs include MOTOPRINT app to print via Wi-Fi-enabled printers, Mirror Mode with HDMI out (HDMI cable required) supporting 1080p HD video playback, Multi-window options for multitasking with ease when using the Webtop application, HTML 5-capable, and a 16GB of storage space with a microSD card slot for storage expansion of up to 32GB. Nokia has also introduced the Nokia 701 Symbian Belle smartphone. What makes this handset special is that it has a 3.5-inch IPS LCD display with ClearBlack technology, creating a great combination of excellent brightness and contrast. The display is also wrapped in Corning Gorilla Glass. Measuring 11mm x 56.8mm x 117.3mm and weighing 131 grams, the Nokia 701 is powered a 1GHz processor and supports a pentaband radio, HSUPA 3G, WiFi, and NFC. Additional specs include a brand new graphics co-processor, an 8GB of internal storage space, a microSD card slot(up to 32GB), an 8-megapixel full focus camera with a dual-LED flash on the back, a secondary camera at the front for video calling, Bluetooth, GPS and an FM radio. The battery is rated at up to 17-hour of talktime over GSM or up to 550-hour on standby time.(8.8/504h over 3G).
