Apple iPhone 4S - The Best Smartphone In The World

Apple has officially announced the iPhone 4S. The highly anticipated smartphone comes jam packed with an all-new camera module, Apple’s dual core A5 processor, iOS 5, and a new antenna design. The iPhone 4S features an 8-megapixel digital camera with a back-illuminated CMOS sensor, a larger f/2.4 aperture AutoFocus lens, an advanced hybrid IR filter, an improved white balance, face detection and 1080p Full HD video capture with audio. Apple claims that its dual-core A5 processor offers up to two times more power and up to seven times faster graphics. This power-efficient CPU is combined with the latest iOS 5, bringing over 200 new features to iPhone 4S. The new Apple iPhone 4S is compatible with both CDMA and GSM networks and supports download speeds of 14.4Mbps. Additional specs include Apple’s Retina display, iCloud, AirPlay, AirPrint and Siri. Apple’s new Siri is a personal assistant that is smart enough to help you get things done. You just need to ask natural language questions and Siri will deliver the most relevant answers for you. The first 7 countries (the UK, United States, Australia, Canada, Japan, France and Germany) will get the iPhone 4S on October 14th, 2011. Apple will also release the smartphone in 22 additional countries on October 28th, 2011. In the US, the new iPhone 4S is priced at $199(16GB), $299(32GB) and $399(64GB) with a service contract. Here is a hands-on video of the BlackBerry Curve Apollo 9370. The thin smartphone features an 800MHz processor, a 480 x 360 pixels landscape display, 3G (HSPA), Wi-Fi, a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. Telus Canada has released a new Android-powered CDMA smartphone, the LG Optimus 3G. Powered by the Google Android 2.2 Froyo OS, the phone features a 3.2-inch (320×480) touchscreen display, Wi-Fi and the ability to create a Wii-Fi hotspot for up to 5 devices, a 3.2-megapixel camera with video and a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB). Reliance, India’s top three mobile carriers, will release the Samsung Galaxy i899, which is touted as the first CDMA Android phone in India. The Samsung Galaxy i899 is a mid-end phone that boasts a 3.2-inch AMOLED display with 320 x 480 pixels, Wi-Fi, GPS, DivX support, Bluetooth, a 3.2MP AutoFocus camera with flash, a MicroSD card slot, and an 800MHz processor.
