Apple has launched its iMovie app for the iPhone 4. The new version of iMovie provides iPhone 4 users with a mobile version of Apple’s Mac iMovie application, providing the ability to edit videos directly on the iPhone via onscreen Multi-Touch controls. Users can also add video from the iPhone library or record directly using the built-in camera, scrub through and trim videos, and add background music, photos, titles and basic transitions. The iMovie for iPhone 4 is now available from the App Store in the U.S., U.K., France, Germany and Japan for $5. [Apple]

Amazon today released “Kindle for BlackBerry”, which is a new application from Amazon.com that allows BlackBerry users on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and other U.S. carriers to get easy wireless access to over 420,000 Kindle books, including New York Times Bestsellers and New Releases, most for $9.99 or less, by downloading the application for free. This application also allows users to read the beginning of books for free before they buy, access their library of previously purchased Kindle books stored on Amazon’s servers, automatically synchronize the last page read between their Kindle-compatible devices, and read books in full color, including children’s books, cookbooks, travel books, textbooks and graphic novels. After releasing the WordPress app for Android, some dudes at WordPress have also developed an app for Nokia’s cell phones. Based on the Qt framework, the WordPress for Nokia app can be used on both Symbian and Maemo devices. WordPress will launch a beta version for Nokia very soon. The IMDB iPhone App. is now available for free at iTunes, so you can get all the information that the IMDB website provides on your iPhone. In case you didn’t know, the IMDB (The Internet Movie Database) is one of the most useful site for moviegoers.
