The unlocked version of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray is now available in the United States for US$429.99. Available in gold, black, white and pink, the smartphone offers a 1GHz processor, a 3.3-inch (854 x 480) scratch resistant display, a 512MB of RAM, an included 4GB microSD card, integrated touch keys, an 8.1-megapixel rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera for video calls and an aluminum frame. Measuring 111mm x 53mm x 9.4mm and weighing 100 grams, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray runs on the Google Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread) OS. [BGR]

iRiver Vanilla Android Smartphone Released In South Korea

The iRiver Vanilla Android smartphone will be launched in the South Korean market. Powered by the Google Android 2.2 Froyo OS, the handset features a 3.5-inch (800×480) multitouch display, a 512MB of RAM, a microSD card slot(up to 32GB), and a 5-megapixel AutoFocus camera. HTC will release the Raider 4G smartphone in the South Korean market later this year. Measuring 128.8mm x 67mm x 11.27mm and weighing 163.8 grams, this Android smartphone comes jam packed with a fast 1.5GHz dual-core processor with a 1GB of RAM, a 4.5-inch qHD (540 x 960 pixel) resolution display, a 4G LTE connectivity, and a built-in 16GB storage space. The handset has a superb 8-megapixel AutoFocus camera with a back-illuminated sensor, an f/2.2 lens, and 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixel) video recording capabilities. The HTC Raider 4G supports up to 100Mbps download speed and up to 50Mbps upload speed on the South Korean LTE networks. If you are looking for a new dual-SIM phone, then check out the Huawei U8520. It is not an ordinary dual-SIM phone because it is powered by the Google Android 2.2 OS. The first SIM card slot supports 3G networks, while the secondary SIM card slot only supports GSM networks. The Huawei U8520 supports WCDMA II, WCDMA V connectivity (1900/ 850MHz) and features a 1GHz processor, an HVGA display, a 3MP digital camera, Wi-Fi, and GPS.
