Telus Canada has released a new Android-powered CDMA smartphone, the LG Optimus 3G. Powered by the Google Android 2.2 Froyo OS, the phone features a 3.2-inch (320×480) touchscreen display, Wi-Fi and the ability to create a Wii-Fi hotspot for up to 5 devices, a 3.2-megapixel camera with video and a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB). Orange has launched the Motorola Atrix in the UK for free on plans starting at £35 per month. Powered by the Google Android 2.2 OS (upgradeable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread), the handset features a 4-inch (960 x 540) Gorilla Glass display, MotorBlur, a built-in biometric fingerprint reader, an HD video recording, a 1GHz dual core processor, a 1GB of RAM and a 16GB of on-board storage.
