The Nokia N8 smartphone is now available for pre-order at Amazon Germany for €469.50 ($587). As a quick reminder, the Nokia N8 features a 3.5-inch capacitive OLED touchscreen display with 640 x 360 pixels resolution, a 12MP AutoFocus camera with Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash and a large sensor that rivals those found in compact digital cameras. Amazon today released “Kindle for BlackBerry”, which is a new application from Amazon.com that allows BlackBerry users on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and other U.S. carriers to get easy wireless access to over 420,000 Kindle books, including New York Times Bestsellers and New Releases, most for $9.99 or less, by downloading the application for free. This application also allows users to read the beginning of books for free before they buy, access their library of previously purchased Kindle books stored on Amazon’s servers, automatically synchronize the last page read between their Kindle-compatible devices, and read books in full color, including children’s books, cookbooks, travel books, textbooks and graphic novels.
