Nokia has recently introduced a new version of the Nokia 6700 Classic which is covered in 18k gold, the Nokia 6700 Classic Gold Edition. The handset comes equipped with a leather carrying case and strap, an 8GB microSD card, and a range of custom wallpapers. The Acer Liquid A1 is now available in the UK market. The company’s first Android smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor with a 3.5-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, Quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and Triband (900/1900/2100) HSDPA, WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and a 5-megapixel camera. FYI, Acer has decided to underclock it to 768MHz in order to prolong the 1,350mAh battery life span. Nokia has recently introduced the 2710 Navigation Edition, which features a turn-by-turn driving navigation with voice guidance, as well as a straight line navigation and an integrated digital compass. The Nokia 2710 Navigation Edition has a 2.2-inch QVGA display, a 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth 2.1, stereo FM radio with RDS, a 2MP camera, and an included 2GB memory card. Nokia will release the 2710 Navigation Edition in the second quarter of 2010 for €110 or around $163. Each purchase comes with a car holder and a car charger.
