Nokia has recently introduced a new version of the Nokia 6700 Classic which is covered in 18k gold, the Nokia 6700 Classic Gold Edition. The handset comes equipped with a leather carrying case and strap, an 8GB microSD card, and a range of custom wallpapers. The Nokia 6700 Classic Gold Edition will be released in selected markets in the first quarter of 2010 for 370 Euro or equal to $545. [Gizmodo]

Acer Liquid A1 Android Smartphone Released In The UK

The Acer Liquid A1 is now available in the UK market. The company’s first Android smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor with a 3.5-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, Quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and Triband (900/1900/2100) HSDPA, WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and a 5-megapixel camera. FYI, Acer has decided to underclock it to 768MHz in order to prolong the 1,350mAh battery life span. Nokia 2710 Navigation Edition Unveiled

Nokia has recently introduced the 2710 Navigation Edition, which features a turn-by-turn driving navigation with voice guidance, as well as a straight line navigation and an integrated digital compass. The Nokia 2710 Navigation Edition has a 2.2-inch QVGA display, a 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth 2.1, stereo FM radio with RDS, a 2MP camera, and an included 2GB memory card. Nokia will release the 2710 Navigation Edition in the second quarter of 2010 for €110 or around $163. Each purchase comes with a car holder and a car charger.
