
T-Mobile has officially announced the availability of the BlackBerry Torch 9810. Powered by the latest BlackBerry 7 operating system, the smartphone comes jam packed with a 3.2-inch VGA touchscreen display, a portrait QWERTY slide-out keyboard, a 1.2GHz processor, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with 720p HD video recording and HSPA+ connectivity. T-Mobile will release a new Android handset in Europe namely the Vivacity. Manufactured by ZTE, the smartphone features a front-facing camera, 3G connectivity and the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing or availability so far. Folks in India will be able to purchase the Motorola RAZR (Droid RAZR) starting next week. Motorola India will launch the RAZR for 32,000 INR or around US$646. Measuring 7.1mm thick, the splash-resistant smartphone runs on the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with qHD (960 x 540) resolution, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 1GB of RAM, a 16GB of internal memory, a 3.5mm audio jack, a 1.3MP front-facing camera and an 8MP rear-facing camera with HD video recording capability. RIM and Porsche have joined together to release the new Blackberry Porsche P‘9981 smartphone. Powered by the BlackBerry 7 OS, the BlackBerry Porsche P’9981 comes equipped with a touchscreen display, a 1GHz processor, a full QWERTY keyboard, a brushed stainless steel case with a leather backing, an 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot(up to 32GB), a 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording and NFC capabilities.

Samsung and China Telecom have announced the availability of the SCH-i929 and SCH-W999 in the Chinese market. Measuring 9.7mm thin, the Samsung SCH-i929 features a 1.5Ghz Snapdragon MSM8660 processor, a 4.5-inch (480×800) AMOLED display and an 8-megapixel digital camera.
