iPhone 3GS Hits India Via Vodafone

Folks in India are now able to purchase the Apple iPhone 3GS via Vodafone Essar, India’s 3rd largest mobile operator. The handset retails for between Rs.29,500 ($650) and Rs.47,500 ($1,050), depending on which model the subscriber chooses. As a reminder, the iPhone 3GS comes equipped with a 3MP AutoFocus camera with video recording capability and hands-free voice control features. The phone also provides access to Apple’s App store with more than 150,000 applications such as games, social networking, financial planning, health management, and more.
