Cricket Communications has decided to release the Huawei Mercury Android smartphone exclusively in the United States. The handset is claimed to be Cricket’s fastest and most powerful smartphone so far. Powered by a 1.4Ghz processor, the Huawei Mercury features a 4-inch FWVGA touchscreen display, an 8.0-megapixel Auto Focus HD rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera for video calls, a 2GB of internal storage, 3G, Wi-Fi and Stereo Bluetooth. What makes this Android smartphone more interesting is that it provides Mobile Hotspot (i.e. Tethering) for up to 5 devices.
