Garmin-Asus’ First Android Smartphone

Garmin-Asus has finally unveiled their first Android smartphone in the form of the nuvifone A50. The handset comes equipped with a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen with a custom Garmin-ASUS UI and preloaded turn-by-turn navigation with voice prompts. Other features include a 4GB internal storage, e-compass, a 3-megapixel camera, an expandable microSD card slot, and accelerometer. The Garmin-Asus nüvifone A50 is expected to be available in Europe in the first half of 2010.
