Japanese carrier SoftBank will launch the Dell Streak Pro 101DL in January 2012. This Android 2.3-powered smartphone features a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED Plus display with Gorilla glass, a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8260 processor, an 8MP CMOS rear-facing camera and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. Measuring 65mm x 126mm x 10.3mm and weighing 140 grams, the Dell Streak Pro 101DL also supports WCDMA (2100MHz), GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz), Bluetooth 2.1＋EDR, IEEE802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, a GPS navigation and a microSDHC card slot. After releasing the Dell Venue in Hong Kong, the company has decided to release this Android handset in India very soon. The Dell Venue boasts the Google Android 2.2 Froyo OS, a 4.1-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, an 8MP autofocus camera, a 1GHz processor and a microSD card support (up to 32GB). Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing of the Venue for the Indian market, but it should be similar to the price announced for Hong Kong (around 23,000 INR). [Dell via UnwiredView]

The Dell Venue is known as the keyboard-less version of the Dell Venue Pro. The company has decided to launch this Android 2.2 Froyo smartphone in Hong Kong. The Dell Venue comes jam packed with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 4.1-inch Gorilla Glass AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels, an 8-megapixel camera with Auto-Focus and a LED flash, a 1GB of ROM, a 512MB of RAM, a 1400mAh battery, a microSD card support, Bluetooth 2.3, Wi-Fi and AGPS. Dell will launch the Dell Venue Thunders in the South Korean market. This keyboard-less Android smartphone comes jam packed with a 4.1-inch Gorilla Glass screen and the Android 2.2 Froyo OS. The Dell Venue Thunders is priced at around 700,000 Won. Additionally, Korean network carrier KT will also launch the HTC Desire, Vega Xpress and Dell Streak Android 2.2 Froyo smartphones. Read more…
